A destination ride to Biidaasige Park!
We will meet at Davisville Station, by the southwest intersection of Yonge St. & Davisville Ave.
The distance is approximately 10km, with an opportunity to stop at Evergreen Brick Works.
This is a slow/casual ride with an opportunity for people to enjoy the route and scenery, and explore the city by bicycle! When we arrive at Biidaasige Park, people can either go to Tommy Thompson Park or return to Union Station.
⚠️ Ride Expectations
Helmets are required.
Be sure to bring your own water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, PRESTO card, cash, and other essentials to enjoy the journey and to have a way to get back home.
Destination Ride: Biidaasige Park
Destination Ride: Niagara Falls
📆 Saturday, September 5, 2026 (Rain date - Saturday, September 12)
⏰ 8:00 a.m.
📍Union Station - Statue on Front Street
A destination ride to Niagara Falls through Niagara-On-The-Lake! We will meet at Union Station outside on Front Street by the statue and ride along various roads and trails. We will take several stops along the way to admire the scenery, grab food, and have a great time!
We will take the GO Train back (and hopefully it is available for the day that we need it).
⚡️ We’re keeping the speed at a moderate ~25km/hr average speed across a distance of ~160km. Speed may change slightly depending on how the group feels.
⚠️ Ride Expectations
Helmets are required!
Communication is key in group rides! Call out hazards that others behind you may not see until it’s too late. As well, shout across the front or back if anything happens (e.g., rider has a flat, group is separating or needs to slow down/pull over).
Do not join if you are not prepared to ride the whole distance while maintaining an average speed of 25 km/hr. You may be dropped. In instances where a flat occurs and may present issues, there are several GO Stations available.
You are responsible for bringing your own spare bike essentials (spare inner tubes, tire levers, pump, multi-tool, etc.) and snacks to get through the distance. Bottle refills should be available at our food stops.
Bring your own PRESTO card and cash. There will be several stops to grab food and drinks, and we will be taking the GO Transit train back home.
DO NOT SHARE THIS EVENT WIDELY! GO Trains can only take a certain number of cyclists, and we want to make sure everyone can get home!
